Remember that the alternative due date that we set will be recorded in your personal Slack channel.* Please contact me to set up a meeting to discuss an alternative due date before you fill out this form. Which assignment are you submitting?* Final draft of Assignment 2: Annotated Bibliography Revision of Assignment 1: E-mail To the Author Revision of Assignment 2: Annotated Bibliography First draft of Assignment 3: Literature Review and Final Reflection Final draft of Assignment 3: Literature Review and Final Reflection On the final version of an assignment, I only give feedback on drafts that are annotated with your specific questions for me. You don't have to annotate your draft if you already annotated your first draft, and if don't want more feedback. However, if you do want feedback, please make sure that your draft is annotated now. You should also annotate your draft if you didn't do this the first time.* OK, I understand. I annotated my draft because I want feedback. OK, I understand. I don’t want additional feedback, but I annotated my draft because this was a requirement that I missed the first time. OK, I understand. I don’t want additional feedback, so I didn’t annotate my draft, but I did do it the first time.. I still don’t know what you mean when you say I can annotate my own draft. It is a requirement to annotate this draft with questions for me. Have you done this?* Yes. No. I don’t know what this means. Annotating your draft with questions means that you are using the comment feature on MS Word or Google Docs to ask me some SPECIFIC questions about different parts of your draft that you're still unsure about. These can be questions about style, development, organization, citation usage, whether or not you're meeting a requirement, or my reader response to something that you've written. Please write 2-3 comments PER PAGE rather than one comment at the top of the whole essay. I prepared a handout on this that we went over in class on Februrary 9th if you want to revisit my slides in the #whatyoumissed channel. I'm also linking to the handout below if you're unsure about what I mean. Here’s the handout on how to annotate your own work: https://110spring23.commons.gc.cuny.edu/how-to-annotate-your-own-work/ Please copy and paste the requirements for this assignment into this box. Read through them and think about how you have met each one (or met them so far if this is the first draft).*Which requirements did you miss the first time? How have you addressed them in this revision?*Based on the requirements you met, do you think this assignment is "complete" (it will count toward your grade total) or do you think you might need to revise and resubmit it?* I think it is complete. I met all requirements. I don’t think it is complete yet. I will need to revise it. Please explain your answer above.*Did you and I have a draft conference (where we met one-on-one to discuss your draft) on this assignment?* Yes. No. I scheduled a conference but did not attend it. Based on the amount of points that you've earned so far and how many you expect to earn on this assignment, what grade will you earn in the class? An A: I completed the requirements, came to class (or made it up), and can articulate what I’ve learned. I have mostly green checkmarks in my Slack channel, and I met the remaining goals on the assignment I’m submitting. A B: I did most things, but I might have missed a few things here and there (a requirement or two for the major assignment, a weekly work assignment or two that I never completed or revised, etc., multiple exit tickets in both units). For example, I may have skipped revising something that didn’t meet requirements in Unit 1 and then didn’t turn in a bunch of tickets in Unit 2. A C: I’ve missed some major things. I might have skipped turning in a few weekly work assignments, or a first draft, or peer review or something like that, or I might not have made up revisions from major assignments, or I might have missed a bunch of class and not done the exit tickets, etc. A D: I’ve missed more than a few things. I might have missed several weekly work assignments, skipped turning in a draft in both units, but I have turned in SOME things. I have at least turned in one draft of the major assignment that meets the word count for both Assignment 1 and 2. An F: I did not complete enough work to pass the class.
